Due to the limited spaces available at Brook Valley to ensure sufficient
turnout and to maintain the standard of individual attention to each of our
horses, careful consideration is given to any potential equine resident. We
want to ensure that any new horses will "fit in" well  with one of our existing
groups of horses. Our number one goal is the safety and happiness of our
horses and we want any potential boarder to know your horse would be given
the same care and concern once a resident here at Brook Valley. Of course
any new horse is also required to be up to date on coggins and all
vaccinations. We also take a very slow and careful approach when
introducing new horses to ensure a safe and low stress move and adjustment
to all horses. We know a move can be a very stressful experience for a horse
and we do everything we can to make sure our new equine resident feels as
safe and comfortable as possible. We offer a "Introduction paddock" where
we house a new horse to give he or she time to adjust and meet other horses
in a safe and "at their own pace" environment.
